These terms govern your use of the Simorgh Run iOS app and this website, operated by the Simorgh Bridge Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit.
The app
- Personal run tracking is free and requires only an account (email and display name).
- You are responsible for your own safety while running. Pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, and weather; the app provides tracking, not safety guidance.
- GPS measurements are estimates and may vary with device and conditions.
Event registrations and payments
- Charity run events have a registration fee, shown in the app before you register (prices in Canadian dollars).
- Payments are made through an external payment page — never inside the app — and support the foundation’s charitable programs.
- Event registration fees are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by the foundation.
- Registration fees are payments for event participation. The Simorgh Bridge Foundation’s charitable registration is in progress; no donation tax receipts are issued.
Fair play
Event leaderboards depend on honest results. Submitting manipulated runs (vehicles, GPS spoofing, account sharing) may lead to removal of results or account suspension.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the app; see the Privacy Policy for what is removed and what is retained.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
